This sailboat from 49 feet has revolutionized cruising: she is the only sailboat in their category to feature movement about the deck without obstacle. The cockpit on this new Jeanneau Sun Odyssey 490 is a revolution and is unique in the class. The side decks are wide with full bulwark style moulded toe rails and the innovative sloped side deck allows you to walk straight to and from the cockpit with no climbing over coamings. Another unique option is to be able to drop the cockpit coamings and create a large sun deck for lounging at anchor.

The teak cockpit table has also had a makeover, the table houses the switches for the electric transom, navigation and cockpit courtesy lighting and has a portable refrigerator to keep your drinks cold. The large electric swim platform makes access to the sea easy.

The master cabin is in the bow and has a separate freshwater electric head and shower and is very spacious with walk around queen island bed and ample storage. The 2 double cabins aft share a freshwater electric head and shower. The U-shaped galley is on port side with fridge, freezer, microwave, 3 burner gas oven and double sink. Large hull and roof ports throughout the boat provide amazing light and views of the sea.
