BRITISH VIRGIN ISLANDS

Although our St Thomas fleet is somewhat modest at this point, we continue to grow and are adding brand new Fountaine Pajot catamarans  each year as we continue to expand our fleet.  But, we have access and the ability to book many, many other boats through
our affiliates in the British Virgin Islands.

If you are not finding what you are looking for, please contact us and we will almost certainly be able to find the perfect boat for your vacation.

If you prefer to fly into St Thomas instead of Beef Island, Tortola, we can arrange for your BVI boat to be delivered to the USVI for your convenience for a fee.  The cost savings, most times, out weighs the delivery charge, especially when considering the lost charter time for travel to the BVI.  Definitely something to consider in the early planning stages.

Remember, that sailing out of our marina on the East End of St Thomas, puts you within less than 3 hours to Jost Van Dyke or Soper's Hole for clearing into customs.  (See more about customs in our Planning and FAQ section.)

BRITISH VIRGIN ISLANDS HIGHLIGHTS

JOST VAN DYKE is one of the most popular destinations in the British Virgin Islands with famous watering holes like Soggy Dollar Bar and Foxy's Tamarind Bar.  The pristine waters and baby powder sandy beach makes White Bay one of the most popular beaches in all the Caribbean.  There are several great restaurants in White Bay as well, including Soggy Dollar, Hendo's Hideout, Coco Loco's, and Ivan's Stress Free Bar.  In Great Harbor you will find the famous Foxy's with live music and weekend barbecues.  In Little Harbor, enjoy the quiet and calm waters and dinner at Sydney's Peace and Love.  In Little Jost, spend an afternoon snorkeling or hanging out at B-Line Bar, a local favorite.

TORTOLA is the largest island in the BVI chain and offers many options.  Cane Garden Bay is a beautiful harbor located on the West side of Tortola.  Myett's Restaurant, a favorite of islanders and sailors alike, is by far the most well-known and popular dining options.  Soper's Hole  is located on the far West end of Tortola and is one of the places charter guests can clear into customs.  Nanny Cay Marina is a great place to restock, re-fuel, and enjoy some time at the dock.  For amazing snorkeling, visit the Dogs or Monkey Point/Guana Island near the East end of Tortola.  The small beach area makes for a wonderful lunch stop.

VIRGIN GORDA is considered to be the most beautiful of all the islands in the BVI chain, mostly because of the spectacularly massive granite boulders and dramatic scenery.  While you are there, don't miss the hike to the Top Of The Baths for an unforgettable dining experience.  Take a dip in the fresh water swimming pool while taking in the view as you look down the entire length of the Sr Francis Drake Channel.  The North Sound of Virgin Gorda makes for a wonderful overnight and another great place to shop or re-provision.  For the newest and one of the most incredible snorkel or dive experiences, don't miss the The Kodiak Queen, a former Navy fuel barge, survived the attack on Pearl Harbor. In March 2017, it became an underwater art installation and new dive site in the British Virgin Islands. Leverick Bay is definitely a favorite and gives you the option of staying on a mooring ball or grabbing a slip for the night at the marina.

ANEGADA is an easy close reach sail straight out of Gorda Sound and is a wonderfully relaxing way to spend a morning on the water.  Anegada is the only island in the BVI chain that is not volcanic, but instead comprised of coral and limestone.  Anegada is 11 miles long and fringed with unspoiled white sandy beaches.  Horseshoe Reef provides a home for some of the largest fish in the area, as well as lobster and conch.  Plan on spending at least two nights in Anegada as it is one of those special kind of places where you can let it all go and completely relax.  If you are craving some the freshest Caribbean lobster, you've in the right spot.  Caught that day and grilled over open drums of fire, this tasty delicacy will melt in your mouth.  Spend some time at Anegada Reef Club, Cow Wreck, and Big Bamboo at Loblolly Bay.  Check out The Wonky Dog or dance the night away after an amazing lobster feast at Potter's by the Sea.  Go exploring on Conch Island or a quiet secluded day on miles of deserted beaches.

NORMAN ISLAND will be another highlight of your trip, especially if you love to snorkel.  Home to The Indians and the caves at Treasure Point, this world famous snorkel spot is home to millions of varieties of fish and marine life.  The main anchorage on Norman Island is the Bight, an exceptionally well-sheltered mooring field.  Jump off the infamous Willy-T, a floating restaurant and bar.  Or, spend the day on a luxury beach at Pirate's Bight and enjoy 5-star dining under beautifully soft lighting and unbeatable ambiance.
