BEAUTIFUL NEW BOATS, IMPECCABLE MAINTENANCE, AND FRIENDLY, KNOWLEDGEABLE STAFF
Catamarans are wonderfully spacious and provide ample area for moving around. Whether it is in the cockpit or salon which spans over both hulls allowing for a larger area inside, the foredeck with the trampoline for sun-tanning, or the great lounging area on the top deck you will enjoy the variety of ways to spend your day on the water. Cats are much more stable than their counterparts which can be much better for new or inexperienced sailors who haven't quite found their sea legs yet or those who are prone to seasickness. Two engines allow for greater maneuverability when in a marina or picking up mooring balls and thus, have gained popularity in recent years. And, you will love the panoramic views!
Monohulls are not just for hard-core sailors any longer. They have comfortable salon areas, spacious and luxurious cabins, areas for sunbathing and other activities. However, it is true that charter guests who prefer monohulls do tend to be real sailing enthusiasts who love the thrills and exciting moments that one gets while heeling under full sails.
If you enjoy the exhilaration and maneuverability of monohull sailing, then check out our offerings.
Our Jeanneau Leader 36, with it's stunning interior and powerful diesel engines it is the best of both worlds, combining luxury and speed. Multiple seating areas will keep your entire group happy, comfortable and dry. The retractable hardtop opens and closes quickly for either sunny, and breezy or a dry and shady ride.
Available for Day Charters and Weekend Getaways.
I had the pleasure of chartering a yacht from Virgin Islands Yacht Charters out of Compass Point, St Thomas. I have chartered numerous yachts over the years; as well as operated by own charter sailing yacht for five years. Kristi and Jim, the owners, do an outstanding job of assuring the yacht is ready to go and in top shipshape. Any follow up or support if needed is prompt and efficient. I highly recommend Virgin Islands Yacht Charters.

Jim & Kristi,
Thanks so much for completing our experience. Our past charter experiences in the BVI were a mixed bag of paradise, apathetic service, and mechanically challenged yachts. God made the islands beautiful, you two made sailing them a pleasure by providing friendly service and an excellent line of yachts. This experience felt less like a charter and more like borrowing a great boat from old friends.

Our group of 3 couples had the pleasure of chartering Eddie’s In Time, a nearly brand new Fountaine Pajot 44’ Helia in the 3 cabin configuration, in April from Virgin Island Yacht Charters. I cannot say enough about the terrific experience we had with the staff and on the yacht.
After previously chartering from Tortola, the convenience of their St Thomas base was a big plus for our travel logistics...no more ferry trips! Kristi made sure we were well prepared to clear customs which turned out to be a breeze at Great Harbour on Jost Van Dyke. We really enjoyed having the opportunity to explore St John for the first time along with the usual BVI favorites. After our pre-charter sleep aboard, we were briefed and underway by 10:30 AM.
Jim, Kristi and Walter were incredibly positive and accommodating...the yacht was amazing...best of all, the Virgin Islands (and Islanders) were just as magical as ever.
Thanks VIYC...we’ll be back soon! ~ Duane Finney
