For those of you that don’t know, the 5th of May, marks one of the the most important days in Virgin Islands Yacht Charters history.
Five years ago today, after a small Cinco De Mayo celebration, we had an opportunity to sit and talk with a hard working, intelligent, funny and just all around great guy, Walter Turner.
That was the day that Walter officially joined the Virgin Islands Yacht Charters team and to say that it changed our lives would be a massive understatement.
From his very first day, Walter treated Virgin Islands Yacht Charters as though it was his own. His knowledge, work ethic and pride in the fleet quickly transitioned Walter from employee to fleet manager and later to general manager.
Over the past five years, we have been through two Cat 5 hurricanes, a pandemic and a major health challenge that sidelined Jim for the better part of a year.
Through every challenge and every success, Walter has been right by our side, no longer as a co-worker, but as family.
On this 5th of May, five years later, we celebrate yet a new beginning.
Today, in recognition of his accomplishments and unwavering dedication, Walter Turner officially became a partner in Virgin Islands Yacht Charters and we could not be more excited or more proud to add one more title to his name.
